Rebates, Incentives and Tax Credit Programs

Several States and electrical utility companies provide incentive programs, rebates and tax credits for purchasing and installing Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment.

The following is a list of incentives that Grizzl-E charging equipment qualifies for.

This list may not be complete, if you know of a EVSE incentive that is not included on the list contact us with the details and we will inquire with the incentive provider on your behalf.

 

Provider Link Qualifications
Braintree Electric Light Department Rebates and Incentives (Charging)
  • The rebate may be used to pay for a licensed electrician’s services and electrical and charging equipment.
  • In order to install one or more of the following charging system components: (1) a 240 volt wiring circuit with a 50 amp circuit breaker, (2) a NEMA 14-50 240V outlet, (3) a Level 2 home charging station.
  • The rebate provided will be $250 or the amount of documented, eligible charging system expenditures, whichever is less.
Reading Municipal Light Department Electric Vehicle Rebate Programs
  • Level 2 Network Enabled Electric Vehicle Charging Station that is installed at the customer’s residence within RMLD’s service territory.
  • Level 1 chargers are not eligible.
  • Wiring and installation costs are not eligible.

Connexus Energy Level 2 EV Charger Rebate
  • Get a $500 rebate for a previously purchased, qualifying Level 2 (240 Volt outlet) EV charger.
  • Must be enrolled in Time-of-Day rate program.
  • EV charger must be installed in the Connexus Energy service territory.
  • Eligible for plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) or plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) only. Hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), such as the Toyota Prius, are not eligible.
  • Applications must be submitted by December 31, 2021.
Lake Region Electric Cooperative Electric Vehicle Charging Rebate
  • Rebate is available for an EV charger (Level 1 or Level 2) purchased on or after January 1, 2018.
  • The charger must be installed where electricity is supplied by Lake Region Electric Cooperative (LREC).
Otter Tail Power Company Electric Vehicles
  • Rebates for Level 2 units on qualifying controlled rates only
  • New equipment must be installed where electricity is supplied by Otter Tail Power Company.
  • A dated sales receipt must be submitted with this rebate request.
Runestone Electric Association Electric Vehicles
  • Call REA at 320.762.1121 or toll free at 800.473.1722 to verify program status, prior to purchase.
  • EV meter socket must be installed to be eligible for this rebate.
  • Rebate amount is up to $500 for qualifying EV charger on a storage rate.
  • Rebate amount is up to $250 for qualifying uncontrolled EV chargers

Entergy Electric Tech Rebate
  • Be a current Entergy customer
  • Buy and install Level 2 EV Charger
  • Provide proof of purchase including an invoice

New Hampshire Electrical Co-Op Charging Station Rebates
  • NHEC will provide rebates of up to $300 to residential members who install Level 2 EV charging stations (240 volts) in our service territory.
  • Rebates will help offset the cost of installing a second electric meter that will record your EV charging usage AND let you take advantage of a low off-peak rate when charging your EV.

Randolph Electric Membership Corporation Randolph EMC Electric Vehicle Utility Program
  • Randolph EMC is offering one $500 rebate incentive for Level 2 charging stations to each member who participates in the REVUP Pilot program.
  • This offer is limited to the first 50 REMC residential members to sign up for this program.
  • To qualify for the rebate, member-owners must be a registered owner of an electric vehicle, purchase and install a Wi-Fi connected Level 2 Charger and agree to share the data collected by the Level 2 Charger.

Public Service Company of Oklahoma ENERGY STAR Electric Vehicle Level 2 Charger
  • ENERGY STAR electric vehicle charger units listed on energystar.gov/products are eligible for the $200.00 or $250.00 program rebate.
  • Equipment for which a rebate is requested must be new and purchased in Oklahoma.
  • Limit (1) electric car charger rebate per PSO residential customer account per year.
  • Rebates valid for purchases between August 1, 2019 – October 31, 2021 or while rebate funds are available for this program.
  • The rebate paid will not exceed the purchase price of the product (excluding taxes, shipping, and installation charges).

Central Lincoln Electric Utility Level 2 Charging Station Installation Rebate
  • Rebate valid for work done or purchases made on or after July 1, 2018.
  • Charger must be 220V or higher.
  • Include copy of paid electrician’s invoice for installing charger. If costs of installation are lower than $250, include copy of detailed receipt for purchase of charger. One or both must be included in application submission.
Columbia River PUD Level 2 (240V) Electric Vehicle Charger Rebate
  • Rebate valid for Level 2 Chargers only.
  • Charger must be 208/240 volt or higher.
  • Include copy of detailed receipt for purchase of charger along with a photo of the installation. Both must be included with application.

Southwestern Electrical Power Comapny LEVEL 2 HOME EV CHARGING STATION REBATE PROGRAM
  • SWEPCO residential customers who own or rent a single-family home can install an ENERGY STAR-certified Level 2 EV Charging Station to qualify for a $250 rebate.
  • You can purchase an ENERGY STAR-certified Level 2 EV Charging Station online, from a local retailer or a dealership. Be sure to save your receipt since it’s part of your rebate application.
  • Once you’ve installed your Level 2 EV Charging Station, you’re ready to submit your rebate request. Complete the online form with a picture of your reciept.
United Cooperative Services Rebate Programs
    • Equipment must be new
    • Must be a member of United (EV charger must be installed at a location served by United)
    • Member must sign up to receive “Beat the Peak” notifications via text messages
    • Charging equipment must have programmable capability that can be set for delayed charge to avoid charging during peak hours (peak hours are 3-7 p.m. May-October)

Tacoma Public Utilities EV Charging
  • You must be a current Tacoma Power residential customer.
  • You must purchase and install your equipment prior to applying for the incentive.
  • Hardwired and plug-in equipment qualifies for the incentive.
  • You must provide proof of purchase (dated within the last 90 days) with your application for one of the approved products.
  • Product specifications:
    • Level 2 charger
    • Must be UL Listed
    • Must be at least 30 amps (7.2 kW)
    • May be plug-in or hardwired
    • May be network connected or non-network connected
